Better, together.

Your Apostrophe treatment plan may contain several of these power-packed medications. Your dermatologist will design your medication to work synergistically together so you can get the best possible outcomes.

“Acne medications work best in combination since we’re able to fight acne from different angles. Only topical treatments target the root cause of acne, the clogged pore, but oral medications can quickly reduce inflammation to kickstart rapid improvement.”

I was extremely hesitant to resort to an antibiotic to help with my cystic acne, but just two weeks in and I'm blown away. Inflammation immediately went down, and I have only had one small new breakout since, while the rest of my existing acne is healing every day. No major negative side effects, other than the adjustment period my stomach had in the first 1-2 days. DEFINITELY make sure you wear SPF with this medication though!

I like the mix of ingredients in this, I just wish the formula was a gel or a lighter cream. This cream is heavy and has a strange, musky smell to it. It's almost unbearable, but luckily it does not linger. I've used clindamycin + tretinoin before in a gel and it had zero smell. I'm guessing it's the spironolactone that smells off. Otherwise, it's a good, potent formula. I experienced dryness and flakiness, but I feel for me that was an important and expected factor of cell turnover that help me shed the dark spots and redness. The dryness was manageable.

So when I first started this new skincare routine, I was using the moisturizer too much and it ended up giving me this weird lip blister. It was huge and painful and I was really upset because it looks ten times worse. So I didn't even use the cream you sent me because I didn't want to irritate the blister thing worse. It was literally connected to the rest of the problem area. So I used the face wash and the moisturizer you recommended. I also used neosporin cream to help reduce the blister. And that worked great. So now I'm officially about a week in on the cream you sent and it has reduced the problem area tremendously. It's not completely gone, but it looks like it almost is! So I'm very happy so far :)

No side effects other than clearer skin. I know its supposed to take weeks to see a difference, but Ive seen improvements in just one week with my plan.

I use it sparingly, mixed with a little face lotion on clean but dry skin 3x a week and it had made an amazing difference. Wish I had worked with a dermatologist for prescription skin care years ago!

If you're over the dance of needing dermatologist office visits then sifting through pharmacies, coupons, insurance requirements to get your meds at a reasonable price... you're ready for Apostrophe. Thorough but simple, prescription but no hassle.

I started using this daily which is what was prescribed. My skin started to severely peel and became really tender. I did a bit of research and lots of people stated that tretinoin is a great acne fighter however it's really strong and until your skin is used to it should not be used daily. I've cut my use back to twice a week and while I'm still getting a few white heads my deep cystic acne has cleared up and the peeling has gone down significantly. If/when the peeling stops all together I will up my usage.
