SIDE EFFECTS


The most common side effects are diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, or upset stomach. Oral thrush and vaginal yeast infections can occur with prolonged use. This medication may rarely cause a severe intestinal infection (Clostridium-dificile associated diarrhea). Symptoms may include persistent diarrhea, abdominal pain/cramping, and blood/mucus in your stool. Allergic reaction to this medication is rare. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include rash, itching/swelling (especially of face/tongue/throat), dizziness and trouble breathing. Should you become pregnant, please stop this medication and check in with your dermatologist.
