Dear Readers, Patients, and Soon-To-Be Patients,

Think about the last time you walked into a Sephora (or the last time you were dragged in by a friend or partner 😉). A salesperson greeted you at the door and offered their help, maybe a make-up artist tested a product on you, and maybe you walked out with a foundation in your perfect shade or a great long-wear eyeliner.

Now imagine if you could have the same experience while getting expert-level dermatological care. What if you could walk into a store with your common skin or hair concern and you were greeted by a friendly board-certified dermatologist ready to address your skincare questions? This doctor doesn't just have the answers you need, but also a prescription pad in hand to provide you with the most effective treatments.

At Apostrophe, we focus on the intersection of beauty and health. This intersection is the niche within dermatology that we think best harnesses the power of telemedicine. We are able to treat conditions that meaningfully impact one’s quality of life in a safe and effective manner. Not only are we increasing your ability to access a dermatologist, but we want to be sure that your treatments are affordable and convenient. That’s why we’ve built our own pharmacy – so we can cut out the costs of middlemen and deliver your prescriptions straight to your door.

We don’t believe that telemedicine is suitable for all aspects of dermatology, unfortunately. For instance, we believe rashes or lesions that may indicate skin cancer are better served by a dermatologist in-person. This physician can perform a more thorough skin evaluation, and further skin testing when necessary, to make the right diagnosis. The conditions we treat at Apostrophe are easily diagnosed by our patients and our doctors. Our focus is providing you the safest and most effective treatments.

We believe that putting your best face forward allows you to put your best self forward. Your complexion or thinning hair shouldn’t stand between you and a great day. We’re here to help you have more great days.

Yours,

Dr. Aimee Paik Medical Director Apostrophe
